This allows each virtual user to use unique data for each test run to match a real production environment. This will prevent application validation errors. Some parameters are used as global variables such as an Employee number and some as used as local variables such as Bonus amount. AppLoader is extremely flexible with this respect and can manage data entered into your system easily.

Verification checks are used to make sure that your application’s request has submitted successfully to the server before moving to the next function and to make sure that the user is in sync with its scenario tasks. Verification checks are done automatically with Scenario Builder by using Image and window checks. For example, after registering a patient a MRN (Medical Record Number) gets generated, with the FindImage Check you can setup a threshold to wait for the MRN to appear on the page, as soon as the MRN appears the user will move into the next step.

Virtual users are simulation of real users; they are generated by the Vstation Manager, a component in AppLoader. The creation of Virtual users allows you to load your system with 100s or 1000s of users. AppLoader load tests a variety of applications with a range from a few to thousands of users.

In a load test you need to establish baseline performance benchmarks for your selected transactions. You can setup the baseline by playing one user test from scenario builder then, once the test is finished, set Reference time from the execution report popup.
