Monitor CPU, memory, disk space, files, processes and applications

SystemWatch monitors system performance with real-time and historical reporting, notification, diagnosis, and summary reports.  This Chroniker module supports most operating systems, including Windows, Linux, Solaris, AIX, FreeBSD, and Oracle. Monitors are easily created via an automatic system scan feature which finds available resources.

SystemWatch helps you easily answer critical questions such as:

  • Which servers are overloaded or underused?
  • Are my services up?
  • Did my batch file get processed at 1 AM as it should have?
  • Are my data files becoming too big?
  • Do I have enough free disk space?
  • What was the behavior of my systems last month?

CPU utilization CPU Monitor 

  • Know when critical CPUs are consistently running at, or near, capacity.
  • Use SystemWatch to monitor the CPU usage in your system.

Disk utilization Disk Monitor

  • Maintain a safe margin of available disk space and be notified when there is not.

Disk Performance utilization Disk Performance Monitor

  •  Keep an eye on your disk performance by monitoring the average disk queue length.

Memory utilization Memory Monitor

  • Running out of memory can trigger larger problems, be notified when it is dangerously low.
  • Collect data on your system's used physical and virtual memory.

File utilization File System Monitor

  • Need to know when certain files change in size?
  • Set alert thresholds for file size >, <, =, >=, <=, as well as absolute kilobyte increases or decreases.
  • You may also have your own scripts called when thresholds are broken, for example to delete or move files.

Process Monitoring Process Monitor

  • Monitor the number of processes running on your servers. 
  • Specify vital processes by name, and how often they should be counted.

Service Monitoring Service Monitor

  • Monitor the services of your Windows systems.
  • Set up reactions to automatically restart the services whenever they stop.

Application Monitoring Application Monitor

  • Similar to Process Monitor, but designed to easily monitor all processes of a particular application. 
  • You will know when applications have crashed or gone amok through SystemWatch's alerting features.
