Create Transaction

This Video explains how Transactions are used to encapsulate actions in ScenarioBuilder and to measure their time elapsed to complete.

appswatch video Using On Failure Action

This Video explains how to use the "On Failure" action to create a section that only executes if the scenario fails.

appswatch video Images Actions

In this video we'll show how the images actions can be used to find icons and click on them to open applications, find fields and click into them to enter data, open menus, close windows and more. We'll discuss the properties associated with the Images Actions, including "Timeout," "Continue on Failure" and "Tolerance." Also, we'll show how to direct the mouse click to specific areas both inside and outside of the images. And last, we'll show how searching for an image in black and white can be utilized.

appswatch video Use Variables Actions

In this video we'll explore the multiple ways variables can be used in ScenarioBuilder. Starting with the "Set a Variable" Action, we'll show how to use a pre-defined variable. We'll also increment a date variable to schedule three successive appointments on a calendar. Next, we'll show how a comma separated values or CSV file can supply rows of variables to a scenario. Last, we'll explain how an "Execution Status" variable can be used to create alternate behaviors, depending on the result of a "Find Image" Action.

appswatch video Conditional Statements

In this video we'll show how to use Conditional Statements in ScenarioBuilder. The "Loop" Action can be used on a basic level to organize scenarios by combining repeated steps. Loops can also be used to call Components multiple times. We'll demonstrate how the "Case" and "Switch" Actions can be used to generate random responses to a survey. Lastly, we'll use the "If-Then-Else" Action to replicate conditional behavior depending on the result of a "Find Image" Action.

appswatch video ScenarioRecorder Demo

This video shows an example of how to use ScenarioRecorder, a tool in ScenarioBuilder, to create a simple Scenario with ScenarioRecorder.
