Los Angeles, California, June 14th, 2006 - NRG Global announced today the official name
change of their CleverEye Monitoring Suite to Chroniker Suite. The name "Chroniker" means "stopwatch"
, or "timer", and reflects the focus of the solution on monitoring response time.
"We offer top of the line monitoring and reporting, but what really differentiates us from the rest
is that we monitor the response time of your business, from the major applications, to your
websites, email, database, and FTP... and it tells you what it causing those bottlenecks," says
Lywan Kummer, VP Sales and Marketing at NRG Global. "With the Chroniker name, we wanted to market
our software with a name that emphasized response time monitoring."
The Chroniker Software Suite is the complete solution for response time and availability monitoring
of your business applications. With top down views and user friendly web interface, Chroniker alerts
of slow points in user applications and gives you the where and why behind the bottlenecks at
multiple levels from logs, OS, database, user interface, etc. Complete with ready made SLA and
other quality assurance reports down to technical views with drill down abilities, Chroniker is well
suited for every level of your technical team.
Along with the name change will come a release with some new features and a revamped pricing

Chroniker's modules monitor your business processes from seven different angles:
- NodeWatch monitors the response time of your servers and network devices to alert you of availability problems or response time exceeding set thresholds.
- TaskWatch monitors the response time of your critical database queries, your crucial e-commerce transactions, your FTP, DNS, Mail servers and more.
- AppsWatch monitors the response time of any application- including Citrix, Oracle, PeopleSoft, etc.- from the user's perspective to know exactly the slow points in a multi-step process before it affects your users and eventually your business.
- SNMPwatch monitors any SNMP enabled device and detects network traffic errors, packets sent/received, temperature of your servers, hardware failures, and more.
- SystemWatch monitors the system resources of your servers (CPU, memory, disk, processes and services) to accurately identify what caused points of slow response time.
- LogWatch monitors and correlates log files from Systems, Databases, Applications, and any SysLog enabled devices to notify you immediately when key messages appear on your log files.
- BizWatch gives you the business perspective of your overall monitoring through customized views of all your critical data in real-time business dashboards to instantly recognize what business process is affected.
