AppLoader Stations – Simulate users and play scenario when instructed by the console. Multiple sessions of AppLoader Station together produce load on the application as real users would.
Session Initiator – Opens sessions on the TS. From here, can view the stations activity in their respective windows.
Console – For controlling the AppLoader stations and running the load tests
AppLoader Reporter – for viewing results of the load test and correlation of application performance with behavior of back end components as application is stressed.
AppLoader Station allows you to:
build and play Scenarios using an intuitive GUI
load / stress applications, or control QoS
calculate Scenario execution time for any given application
send the Scenario and Transaction execution results per loop to the AppLoad Management Console.
AppLoader Console allows you to:
control the Stations
distribute scenarios to Stations
set a certain number of loops for playback
launch the test campaign
generate load-test results for graphing and reporting in the Reporter
distribute Scenario variables
Session Initiator will help you open large amounts of RDP or ICA sessions on a Terminal Server or a Citrix MetaFrame Server to simulate a large number of users.
AppLoader Reporter allows you to view reports and graphs on the load test. Examples include:
View the average response times of the scenario and the transactions it is comprised of during the load test.
Correlate the response time delays and the use of the computer system resources (using SystemWatch and other components of the Chroniker suite) as number of users increases.
