New features of Chroniker 5.0 include
The introduction of IT Services, which are a logical grouping of monitors and other services. Services allow you to:
- Organize dashboards in unlimited ways
- Define events at the service level
- Create alerts dependencies between all Chroniker objects, including between services
- Escalate alerts
You can now create profiles on events and alert users (and user groups) according to their profiles (Example: For a specific
event, specify to alert person A during business hours, and alert person B during off hours)
Alerts acknowledgement function
Use of web 2.0 technology for the front end, for easy and intuitive user interface
Introduction of ‘MyReports’ function to create predefined reports for a tailored view for each user
